Exam Revision Help from Meno Yearbooks

The Summer term is always busy as exams start. Exams always come at the wrong time of year, just when the sun is coming out and it would be nice good to head out side and enjoy the good weather. Our advice is to get out and about when you can, as exercise can help revision.

It is important to focus on your exams, but also good to have breaks and look forward to finalising your yearbook entry and getting ready for the your prom.

Exam Revision

Here at Meno we wish everyone good luck in their exams. We have had a brainstorm as to our best revision advice from the Meno team. Of course, we did not have fidget spinners to help us relax, so we are sure you will be fine anyway:-

1. Get your revision timetable sorted and follow it.
2. Always find a quiet place where you can concentrate when revising. We all agree that an hour of concentrated effort is better than 3 hours of disrupted revision.
3. Get some exercise and get some sleep. Research shows that regular exercise and getting enough sleep can really help increase your grade.
4. Past papers – this was deemed by the team the most important trick – do as many past papers as you can.

During Your Exams

1. Have a good breakfast of eggs or porridge. The slow release fibre will enable you to concentrate throughout the day.
2. If you get stuck on a question move on. It is best to complete all that you can and then go back to the tricky ones.
3. Take some water into the exam and make sure you stay hydrated. Although not too much as having to pop to the loo all the time could be disruptive.
4. Remember to read the questions carefully.

School Year End

We know you will be busy over the next few weeks, and fitting in producing a yearbook could be difficult, but we believe it is well worth it and your yearbook will be something you can treasure for many years to come.

Yearbooks

We have also tried to make the Meno system as quick and easy as possible. With Meno Yearbooks you don’t have to fit photos and text into design templates or fiddle around with fonts, colours and photo frame angles. At Meno, we will do all the design work. So at this time of year, you still have time to produce a yearbook.
Remember, to keep looking forward. Soon the exams will be over and you can enjoy the summer.

Here is a test question to get your brain working:-

Which yearbook system should I use to produce the best yearbook?

A. A long standing and trusted supplier, with professional designers and great designs
B. A system designed to make it easy to collect the data and who will put the book together for me
C. A system where we are in control and can upload our own photos and profile
D. All of the above – we should use Meno Yearbooks

The correct answer of course is D.

We wish you all the very best in your exams and hope that you will be back to use Meno Yearbooks again, either after your A-levels or when graduating from University.
It is always really nice to hear from students who used Meno Yearbook for their previous book and have come back to us again at university.

Good luck

The Meno Team.
